But Bro, I bought 2 season tickets. One for me, and one just so I could bring random friends so they could enjoy the glory that was Ben Simmons. I even flew to NYC and sat courtside for the games we played in Brooklyn. I’m fact, I am in Ben Simmons’s showtime documentary. It’s literallyme standing up and clapping alone on the screen for 2-3 seconds.

North Florida Win by 11- 43 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, 3 blocks, 2 turnovers
Marquette Lost by 1- 21 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists
@Vandy Win by 8- 36 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists
@Florida Lost 6- 28 points, 17 rebounds (LSU scores 62 total Points)
@Bama W by 2- 23 points, 8 rebounds. 4 assists
Georgia W by 4- 22 points, 14 rebounds


Honestly I could go on and on and on and on. When we said he “checked out”, he still scored over 20 points basically every game. The guy scored single digits ONE time. He scored 20 or more points IN 18 GAMES!!!

I’m so tired of this stupid narrative and it’s a problem. It’s a cultural problem and makes LSU fans look retarded because we have dumbfrick inbreds like you.

AND LASTLY, I live in Philly now. The guy is averaging 16ppg, 9rpg, 8apg...yea no one is complaining. People want him to develop a jumpshot, but no one is mad at his performance.

That team literally had 4 NBA players and 6 professional basketball players and didn’t make the tourney. One of the NBA guys didn’t even start lol. That’s how ignorant and bad Johnny Jones was. Personally I don't understand the fascination with his association with LSU which amounted to dropping by for a cup of coffee. I don't think he gives much thought to being at LSU or identifies as being a Tiger.
LSU was a marginal team during his year and would have been awful without him but so what?
There is no halo effect from Simmons year in Baton Rouge. It didn't raise the stature of the program.
