Is wearing makeup deceitful and dishonest?

Had a deep convo with the so about the psychology behind wearing makeup and I’ve come to the conclusion that it causes a lot of harm to society.
I don’t think people who wear it are intentionally trying to be dishonest or deceitful, but in actuality you’re pretending to look in a way that you actually don’t.
Case in point, I could be attracted to a woman one day and have certain feelings about her based on the way I think she looks, but the next day I could see her differently and may not be attracted to her at all aesthetically.
Further, I contend that it causes some women to have a false sense of self and that can lead to superficiality and narcissism.

I really don't think women wear makeup for guys, but rather for other women. I think they try and make themselves look better, so other women won't judge them as much.
And the makeup game has stepped up big time and it can completely transform an fugly chick into a looker, but then again most can tell she has an inch thick layer of makeup on. That is why I prefer a woman who wears little to no makeup. Them natty beauties >>>>

Scruffy thinks women look better without makeup.

It’s all about what’s inside. In your moms case, it’s my cock.

Women wear makeup for other women. Nothing cuts a woman like being harshly judged by other woman.

Makeup isn't going to turn an IRL 3 into an OT 8. It works best if they highlight their best features or match it to their clothing. And subtle is usually better - which means it's a minimal change to their appearance.

I don’t wear much but what I do wear makes me able to tolerate my flaws a little better. And it offers sun protection.

At 3am? That will never go well for you.
And I bet he always cakes it on so much that anyone can tell.

I don’t give a shite. I like to wear makeup. It evens out my skin tone and it’s fun to play with.

The thing is, what it takes them dozens of dollars of makeup what I can accomplish with a bottle of liquor.
At the end of the night, eager beats pretty

Depends. I prefer a lady who is confident enough without it.
I suppose a little don't hurt but the way many women wear it is pathetic. I can't quite understand being embarrassed of your natural state.
It's hard to take a make up Queen serious

I was told that women have to wear makeup because of patriarchal society.

Why stop at makeup?
They're not that tall - heels
Their hair is not that long - extensions
They’re not that skinny - whatever that girdle thing is
Their eyelashes aren’t that long - stick ons
Their fingernails aren’t that long - press ons
Etc
Etc
Glad my wife is hot rolling out of the bed in the morning.

Would you consider a guy who bulked up using “enhancers” deceitful because it’s not strictly because of their genetic makeup?

I agree with everything you said. It's a completely unnecessary level of vanity. The cosmetics industry is a multibillion dollar industry though and they count on the vain insecurities of women more than anything to keep it going.
It's funny because you could take all of the money spent on cosmetics and it wouldn't shock me if it could fund the discovery of an anti-aging treatment that would make a lot of the cosmetic industry obsolete.

No offense Masterag, you seem like good people, but this is a little too much thought put into this topic.
Makeup highlights features, hides others. It's about looking as best as you can, there is nothing wrong with people wanting to do that. It's commonly used by men who are on TV or performing in front of a lot of people.
If a woman doesn't want to wear makeup, then that's great, but the many women who do wear makeup.. That's what they want/like to do.. I don't see it as them being dishonest.
What about men who deceive women by pretending to be a certain way. Flattering her, being a gentleman, etc. Then once he reels her in, he starts to show his true colors?
I am just saying. There are other ways people can be dishonest or whatever, than wearing makeup.
