Serious question about Sopsher

Is he lazy? I saw him play against Country Day and he took a lot of plays off.

I’m in the restaurant business and talked to the owner of a well known restaurant in Amite. He happened to go to school and played football with Sopsher’s dad, Rodney, who he referred to as Slob. His nickname in school. The Sopshers frequent his place and he has a relationship with them.

This reminds of when my sister-in-law’s boyfriend’s dad knew a guy that got his haircut by a barber that said T-Bob got benched by Miles for wanting Lee to play.

They are very close knit and there’s a bunch of them in Amite. I believe they all live off of Bennett Rd. just off the interstate. His uncle was speaking with a friend of mine and stated he’ll be shocked if he doesn’t come to LSU.

I mean it's really simple actually.

If he's got the stuff he's going to the league in 3 years through either program.

So it's frick over my brother or don't frick over my brother.

Oh and only ONE major school is allowing that as an option and it happens to be the home school.

I don't know what Bama has sunk into this guy but my lord it's gotta be massive money

I still say if you take one 5 star and one 1 star, that adds up to a 3 star average. Not worth it!

Hard to argue with this logic......... You know because it’s fricking retarded. I’m sure you thought it was a bad idea to take Lanard Fournette for Leonard too.

By the way we have 1 defensive lineman committed...a 3*...

If he doesn't go to LSU, Bama would have rope a doped the Tigers for 2 recruiting spots instead of 1.
wait, you think Alabama forced LSU to offer Rodney a scholarship?

I can tell you that I saw him lift Kardell Thomas and run over Clay Webb.

Also in the state title he had 4.6 TFLs and a sack.

Serious question- Do you think Orgeron, Saban and Jimbo would waste this much resources on kid that didn’t have all American potential?

I mean it’s possible they offered him based on his freak physical attributes but have concerns about his motor.

He played lazy in the only game I’ve ever seen him play. Maybe some others who follow this stuff more closely can chime in on how he looked the rest of the season.

Is there any combination of defensive lineman we could sign on the 19th that would let us pass on Sopsher and his brother? It would be great to fill our needs, save the extra scholarship and send the message that in state players who play games with us could end up getting

If your a good coach, this shouldn't be an issue. Light a fire under him or bench 'em if he takes off plays.

He and Kardell pretty much split reps, but he straight abused Clay Webb.

Yep. His nickname was Slob. Sat two seats over from me in one class at AHS. Computer science I believe. Rodney is as easy going as it gets.
I still think he goes to UA.

The barber was always easy going. Although he’s highly disliked on here.

Speaking of the barber..... is Alabama paying for the bypass surgery or the expanded Louisiana Medicaid?

He was chunky in since grade school. But well dressed and friendly. Never had that chip on the shoulder attitude.
Last time I talked to him was more than 25 years ago. Him me and Petitto outside a gas station. Lol.
