Thanksgiving Day will be unseasonably cold across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic -- temperatures in some areas will drop 15° - 25° below average. This is what it means for D.C.
When Does the Arctic Air Arrive?
An arctic cold front passes through the D.C. area late Wednesday, and the cold air comes rushing in by Thursday morning. The graphic below shows where the core of the cold air outbreak will be -- over the northeast. In the Mid-Atlantic, temperatures will also drop well below-normal.

Didn't you get the memo? It's no longer "global warming". The new moniker is "climate change", which is great because you can NEVER be wrong..regardless of how the climate changes. Too cold? Climate change. Too hot? Climate change. Too dry? Climate change. Too many storms? Climate change. Too few storms? climate change.
The climate has been changing in some form or fashion for 4.5 billion years. The great news is that it's going to continue to change...thus, "climate change" alarmist are ALWAYS right!

Clearly you don't understand the difference between weather and climate.
As explained to me by Climate Warming folks it doesn't matter if it snows every day of the year... that is just the weather because the climate is warming damnit. Humans are responsible.

Still no snow here in Anchorage. Not a global warming activist by any means, but we can do this all everyday talking about it be cold somewhere and warm somewhere else. Pointless.

Expect this to be the trend all winter for south Texas north to the Great Lakes and eastward. Well below average temps expected through the eastern half of the US and well above average in the western half.
This is due to an El Niño pattern setting up that has caused a deep dip in the jet stream across the plains extending down to Texas. This will funnel cold arctic air down to the northeastern, Great Lakes, and southeastern US on top of the 11 year solar cycle being in the year of least solar activity. It’s a combination of events leading to possibly a record setting cold winter in the eastern half of the US
