Wish mine was only $50. Seems like the place increases the price every few months.

You're a guy and you pay more than $50 for a haircut?

Yeah... kind of fallen into a well. When I first went there about a decade ago they were $45; they’ve slowly raised the price here and there. (About a year ago they added another $2 on top of their other increases to help make them more “environmentally friendly.”)

But it’s the same lady that has cut my hair that entire time, she does a good job, and they use premium products. So I kind of just shrug my shoulders and pay it.

Damn. I figured a guy's haircut would cost like $20-25. I haven't gotten one since about 1997 though

I just shave mine with clippers.

Troy's is the only correct answer.

Feedback I’ve gotten on Troy’s is, they only can do one kind of haircut. And the wives aren’t a fan.

$50+ for a men’s haircut?

Does the lube come with that cut or do they just go in dry?

horse shite. if you ask for a flat top or high-and-tight, you're gonna get one. If you tell Troy or the lady who works to his right what you want, you'll get that too. The lady to his right agrees with the wives on leaving some hair on your head. She argues with me on length every time she cuts my hair.

Maybe you should get your wife to drive you and let her tell the barber how SHE wants YOUR hair cut. Or you could act like a man and get it cut the way you like.

Honestly I just cut my own hair. I've been cutting my own hair since 2009 when I got fed up with paying $40 a pop every two weeks. I went to Walmart and found the clippers they sell and just started experimenting in a mirror with a handheld mirror in my other hand.

Nine years later half of my head is still shorter than the other half but I save money

I can't imagine it takes more than 20-30 minutes to cut a man's hair for nearly every haircut. I can't believe you and others are suckers enough to think some broad deserves $100-150 an hour to cut hair.

Wasn’t there a thread a few weeks back that some CrazyBitch bumped who cut hair that was totally not the same chick (wood) that was having her salon taken by the state for highway expansion?

Yeah, wouldn’t go to that place. She cray.

Had a good buddy suggest this. He switched over from Troy’s recently. Will probably give him or Buttins Broussard a shot. Heard good reviews about both.

Thanks OT ballers.

Sometimes mine takes 45 minutes. That's including a beard trim/shave too though.

ETA: mine still only costs $20-$35, not really sure how he comes up with the number. I usually just pay him $40, unless he specifically tells me he's charging $20 this time, then I give him $30.
