The o line was terrible last night. No matter who was calling plays it wasn’t going to matter.

If the whole offense returns we may have a chance to put out a quality offense in 2019. Key word is MAY.

We might as well let Ensminger have a second year to have his offense fully installed. We're not beating Bama next year with Tua anyway.

#1 fact is the OC not doing his job. I dont have excess to films of Alabama but I could tell halfway thru first quarter that you cant play action against them. Their 3 down linemen dont bite and it gives them 2 more steps to the quarterback, by the time he turns around they are half way there. Put him in shotgun back him up 5 steps and use their speed against them to side step.

Make them run farther to get to Qb, also creates more space for screens and gives receivers more time to make cuts.

True, but we have to bring in much better OL recruits next year or else this will be repeated often.

I agree. hell, we've looked damn good in several games this year. it is the OL that is our achilles heel as they were the main cause in both of our losses. next year they should be bigger and stronger and hopefully, our tackles have better footwork.

If Steve Ensminger is the OC we have a pretty good chance to put out another Les Miles Offense and may have a 10% chance of scoring on Bama

This line has NO tackles. None. There have been no good tackles now for some time.

Yea but man, you don't make it easier for them and call slow developing pass plays, especially on your own goal line, when your line is getting worked.

So, in year three of the O era, and after he has been in charge of recruiting since 2015, we have a 0% chance of scoring on Alabama?

Nothing could have been done from a play calling perspective to help the line out? Nothing?

Quite an indictment of the coaching staff, which is responsible for recruiting, development and game plan.

Not a fact at all....The point of putting together a scheme is to identify how you can exploit another team's weaknesses and combat their strengths. LSU tried to line up and out talent Bama again. Same results with the same philosophy. That's certainly not what O said in the lead up to the game.
