Ugh. That's like several steps backward, right?

Panama City is like Birmingham. The difference is a beach.

It's not bad. Just steady rain. The eye will hit me soon. No loss of power. No high winds.

Looks like Mexico Beach and Port St Joe took the brunt. PCB may have fared okay. You're in our thoughts.

I pulled the plug in hopes that it would just fill up with water instead of floating off. If it fills up it will hopefully just sit on the rack. I guess we will know something later today.
Awful awful stuff. Pulling the plug was the right decision regardless. If surge leaves your boat, rain would have filled it up.

I have a condo there. It's about 10 miles from where the eye came ashore (fortunately on the West side of the eye). I was supposed to be there this week but bailed when I saw Michael building. As long as we are safe and have insurance it's just stuff.

Ha Ha so true! Be safe. We know what it’s like to lose everything due to a hurricane.

No power. Got a small generator running fans and the fridge. It's actually cool and not raining out so windows open is helping too
