My friend and I went at 11 AM last weekend for the 2:30 game and the bar seats were full by 12:30, 1. Place sucks in that you have to get there hours before to even get a spot that allows easy drink access. There really isn't standing room because everyone sits at the tables, unless you want to go on the roof in the heat.

Working on securing the whole downstairs and projector room at Renfields for the Ole Miss game.

I’m sure we could all work together to figure a place out. If we get a Tigerdroppings Dallas bar, that’s probably enough, with our LSU friends, to convince a bar owner/manager to set up for us.

The thing is picking a place and sticking to it.

What say the rant, suggestions? It needs to be a place that doesn’t have a watch party already. And it probably needs to be in uptown or Knox/Henderson.

Edit: if the renfields idea works that could be a good one.

Yea we did that last year at Eastwoods. The owners flew our flag and gave us LSU specials and all. The new owner isn’t as cool and added FSU to the mix so we are moving on. I’m good friends with the GM at Renfields and she just texted me saying she’ll do “LSU Purple Punch and Jell-O shots and $20 buckets” for us and we will get the whole downstairs and back room with the projector. Soooo that’s starting for the Ole Miss game

I’ve watched an A&m game back there before. That’s a good spot. They let anyone in with LSU gear on?

This is specifically what the manager texted me: “Yeah! 120” projector in the back & I can do audio everywhere & your game on every other tv as well! 5 TV’s inside not including projector and 5 TV’s outside, all in your game.”

Just to clarify: this is starting next weekend for the Ole Miss game, not this weekend.

II Borthers is nasty AF. It’s Louisiana Tech, so I don’t think you are going to find any fired up LSU crowd at any particular place.

Nice. You have to pony up money to reserve the room or they just expect to make a shite ton off drinks and food?

Neither. I just know the GM really well and she is awesome. They don’t charge bc we usually have a pretty large group. It doesn’t cost them anything to put the game on for us and they get more business.

Come up to Addison. There are always Tiger fans watching the game there. Great burgers and good selection of beers.

I don’t get why everyone loves this place here.

It is probably my least favorite bar in Uptown.

Always packed, a thousand dogs around, just gets old I guess after you’ve been 290 times.

You’ve been to a bar 290 times and don’t like it?

????
no official single place in Addison ??

one great place, not official but but with a huge LSU crowd is EASTWOODS (McKinney-Lemmon).
Food not exceptiona, but solid LSU crowd...
if raining, it could be iffy.. the outside patio is a big part of it.

Last game I could not find a plce to sit a Dodie's because of people holding seats for others, so I left.
I went to RAZOO's in Richardson (closer to home).
They had all the TVs on the LSU game although there was not an LSU crowd.
