Trailer is not great but it seems like they are putting a lot of depth to the character and maybe showing a development of her powers over time. Can be a stand alone great movie if they pull it off and not just Avenger movie 19A

It just simply lacks that "Marvel Universe" energy and slick, fast paced editing and soundtrack that we've come to associate with the Marvel brand. I don't think Brie Larson is enough on her own without it. But it's just the first trailer, so we'll see.

And after this movie makes eleventy billion dollars We can stop hearing about movies bombing because of a female lead.
