Lsu vs Auburn 2008 andrew hatch ran the ball and got murdered by Auburn. He came stumbling back to sideline with mouthpiece falling out. Last time we saw ol Harvard transfer charlie hatch.

I like the tough attitude of burrow. But this ain't Ohio high school football or south east Louisiana. Auburn's defense will kill you burrow. Don't lower you shoulder and hope for the best. Slide!!!!!

good thread with a good point only to be constantly destroyed by the rant because the guy used Charlie instead of Andrew.

I like Joe Burrow a lot. However, I felt like he came across pretty badly in that interview where he said he's not going to slide. It also looks bad on the coaches in my opinion if they don't let him know that the issue is not up for debate. On routine runs where fighting for the extra yard isn't critical, he has to get down. That's just being a mature, responsible QB. It's got nothing to do with toughness. Fight for the tough yards at the goalline or the marker in big spots. You're the QB, not a tailback or a receiver.
