You're awfully sensitive on this subject for some reason..
Sure, there are racists everywhere,e.g., Boston, but The South espoused it with such flourish and passion in the 50's and 60's. I was around and I assure you that is the truth.

And I’ll counter you with the notion that because they weren’t as open about it in the North, it was more insidious.

More insidious? 4,000 people were lynched in the South v. Banks had racist lending practices. Both are wrong, but come on man.
