I always found them far superior to the Final Fight games, though that's an old playground feud I have trouble giving up.

And for anyone who likes SOR, you should definitely hunt down Streets of Rage Remake, which is essentially an unofficial Streets of Rage 4 that combines the 3 previous games into one massive, branching story.
