In LSU history if you go by results on the field? 2009, 2010, 2011, or another class?

2014 class had most potential, and talent.

This is really more subjective a topic than objective due to the fact other recruiting classes have a lot to do with how successful teams will be. I mean, I agree the 2001 class was a great class, but would there have been as much success without players from other classes? Would there have been a NC in 2003 without Matt Mauck, without Justin Vincent, without Chad Lavalais, Jack Hunt, Jesse Daniels, Laron Landry, Kirstin Pittman, Eric Alexander, Lionel Turner, Corey Webster and many more that had as much to do with the success on the field as those from the 2001 class. I believe a better measure of which recruiting class was the best would be how many went on to play in the NFL. There's just too many other factors that determine success on the field than recruits in a single recruiting class.

Last years class will go down as one of the best ever. While all program vie heavily for the low hanging fruit of the blue chippers, Orgeron, and this staff are experienced top flight football coaches, and can evauate true talent. So we miss on a few prima donnas. Orgeron is killing it with finding gems the show boaters are overlooking.
