I hate him for continuing to say he loves LSU despite choosing Houston....it isn’t ridiculous.

He's not the first player to say something like this. I can think of a handful of dudes who "loved LSU and went somewhere else". It's not that big of a deal.

Hating a 20 something because he didn't pick your school. Yet, still has something positive to say about the university/program is pretty absurd thinking for an adult.

Screw this stupid punk....and his brother.
Act like a dumbass and choose Houston? Fine, but on an athletic level, I hope you endure misery and regret daily.

I’d be very careful tossing around accusations like that.

Some of you people need to reassess how seriously you take this game and being a fan. Ed seems to be a good guy. You, on the other hand....

Yeah the love was mutual. He would have been an all time great at LSU. We knew he'd be great and he's even better than we thought.

there's 130 FBS schools, and each recruit has unique circumstances.

We're not going to get every guy we want.

No use getting all worked up about it.

His coach and brother ended up at Houston. He also likely got a nice stipend there. Sucks but no hard feelings. O should have closed the deal and had him here

For wanting to stay close to home and play with his brother?

Of course I would have loved to seem him as a Tiger but I understand completely why he would want to do what he did.

I'm sure Herman lied to him as well and said he planned on staying at Houston also..

And then his old HS coach packed up and left him there to follow Herman to Texas.

Probably told Herman if he didn't get a job at Texas he would out him for illegal recruiting.

Just glad he didn't go to Alabama. Houston never was an obstacle for LSU in any event. On the other hand, players from Baton Rouge that go to Alabama when they have a chance to play at LSU need to be neutered so they can never reproduce. By the way, have I mentioned how much I hate Alabama?

Honestly, if you ask any kid three years later after signing with a school you'd probably get that response. Think about it, 17 year old making that big of a decision for his college career
