does his term run out when trumps first term ends? how long does the job last?

does trump have the option to just appoint someone else for his second term or does he need sessions to resign or fire him/.

Sessions serves at the pleasure of the President. He can resign or be fired by Trump at any time.

When Trump's does, or when he's fired, impeached/removed or resigns.

I think the President will keep everyone in place until the issue run there course, a huge waste of money and distraction and disruption to our Country.

And after it run its course, The President will fire them all. No one can then say he interfered

so his term expires in 2020 and then trump has to decide to ask him to stay on or appoint someone who will actually do the job?

i think trump knows his hands are tied and he cant fire him, that option is off the table and not a real option i believe.

i cant say the specific reason, but its obvious trump wants him gone as badly as all of us do, but he acts like there is no way he can fire him.

so something is going on behind the scenes that has him unable to do that, maybe the rinos will impeach, i dont know but its "something"

Not even close.

Sessions is AG until either he takes himself out of office or SOME POTUS takes him out sometime.

Until any POTUS at a future date fires him, Sessions is AG until he decides to stop. If no future POTUS ever fires him he could die in office at age 120 conceivably.

Trump could fire him. His supporters won’t care .

Some of you guys really need to take a basic government class.

Answer: He was appointed by Trump. He doesn't serve a term. He serves as long as Trump wants him to.

I always the cabinet had to be renominated and reconfirmed at the start of a President's second term.

Senate has already said they won’t confirm a new AG.

1. He resigns
2. He dies
3. Any president fires him.
Could be trump now or a democrat in 2020.
