Since you're laughing at my assertion there's no evidence, please provide me with some that shows I'm wrong.

I would hope to god our HC is "on the same page" with his coordinators. How does this go against what I said?

Nick Saban is famous for leaving his alone staff to do their thing while he just stands by and watches. Amirite?

Yes, yes you are right.

Saban hired Lane Kiffin, lane fuching kiffin, because Saban knew that kiffin can do offense and Saban is a defensive guy.

the fact that CLM is here is why we will see more passing and less running

Are you sure it has nothing to do with the lack of experience returning at RB, and the tremendous depth and talent at both WR and QB?

Read between the lines, man. It's there, you just don't want to understand it.

i am pretty sure we will try to be a much more balanced offense and harder to defend for opponents.

Oh I don't know, just look at the fact that Orgeron has tried to force an offense on every OC he's ever had.

Because O is so comparable to Nick Saban as a HC.

Yeah, we get it. 50:50 run pass etc.

You know who else said that ?

Ed Orgeron, in 2017 (bet you thought I was gonna say Les)

For hiring his buddy Cammy Cam. So why is O telling us he’s known Steve Ensminger since 1979 like we should care? Does the fact that they’ve been friends for nearly 40 years mean he is gonna use the tight ends more and no longer run the toss dive??

In his defense, with a limited in talent QB, the offense was far more productive with him as OC. With Cam our O struggled against good teams and mediocre teams.

How does this have a single upvote?

It's unequivocally false. This fanbase blew more smoke up Cam's arse than just about any OC we've had. Cam didn't catch heat for a while.

And O is catching major heat for hiring SE. It was the most asked about question he got at SEC media days. What exactly is your point?

now THIS is unequivocally false. Orgeron is catching shite from a handful of posters on tigerdroppings, i would still say most of this board is on board with the hirez

most of the rest of the country does not give a shite because they already think so little of O to begin with.

My point is why are more people not frustrated with the fact that Ensminger seems to have gotten the job not based on his qualifications, but on the rapport he has with O.

Initially people loved the hire and the first year went pretty damn well. It turned out to be a poor hire the following year once people realized that Cameron can't coach young/undeveloped QBs to save his life.

This is likely also going to be the results that come out when people realize Ensminger can't coach them either.

Miles wasn't ripped for hiring Cam, most people were very positive of the hire. We just didn't know Cam was going to do whatever Miles wanted to do. There's no evidence that Ensminger is going to do that.

This is the scenario that played out but the majority of the fans just believe that Cam Cameron was a terrible OC.

Cameron didn't have what it takes to be a good head coach but as an OC/QB coach he did. All the success in Cameron's long coaching career came as an OC and QB's coach at the collegiate and NFL levels. He's responsible for coaching many successful QB's who had great NFL careers. His resume in regards to grooming QB's and calling plays is superior to the resume of Ensminger.

I'm not knighting Cameron as the best OC in football but he certainly was a good coordinator. His first year at LSU in 2013 had LSU's offense in the Top 35 nationally in Passing, Rushing & Points per game plus Total Offense. He gets credit for Mettenberger's successful season as a senior as well.

Les completely shifted the offense once Mett, Jarvis and OBJ left the program and Cameron's vertical passing attack went with them. In 2014 Les greatly influenced the offense and Cameron's LSU offense was essentially dead at that point.

Orgeron, it is claimed, knows even less about offense than Miles.

Who made that assertion.
Do you need to be an expert on football to be a talking head.
How many failed coaches are analyzing football games and second guessing successful Head Coaches.

In hindsight, don't you think the fact that Cam Cameron was fired by the Ravens DURING the middle of the season when they won the Super Bowl should have sent off alarms?
