Oh and I’ll still be driving my 1999 F250 7.3 when whatever pos Chevy or dodge you buy breaks down in 5 years.
My dad is still driving his '99 Suburban..
I'd still be driving my '95 2dr Tahoe if I didn't have kids... But now my mechanic is driving it.. Wish I still had it..
You take care of anything, it will last... Even a Dodge...

Is the Honda Ridgeline a good truck?

It’s a nice elcamino type truck, but it’s not much of a truck. I test drove it recently, and it drove more like a car. In fact, I had to look behind me at one point to confirm there was an actual bed back there. For the right person, it could be a great semi truck thing to go around town in. I’d say it’s for that guy or gal who wants to carry the mower in the back every now and then to the shop, or maybe make a run to HD and pick up a small load of potting soil or mulch or what have you. Maybe someone who needs to bring smaller items to the job site for work or just wants extra storage but really wants the feel of a car. Could also be a good little tailgating vehicle, or maybe vehicle to go camping with.
It’s very well built, and the fact you get 4WD standard is a plus. Drives great and nice interior, except for the arm rest things I’m not big on. All that being said, for the right buyer it could be a great buy. I just needed a lot more room in the back for my needs. You will pay though. It’s not cheap.

I had a ridgeline for almost 9 years.
Put 250K miles on it.
Towed a 19.5 foot Triton bass boat as far as Badin, North Carolina....twice.
Towed the same Triton to Sam Rayburn, Toledo Bend, Dulac, Lake Hartwell, Santee Cooper, Lake Norman, Lake Keowee on many occasions.
Never had a single issue and maintenance was cheap. I basically changed the oil and once a year, the VTM-4 fluid.
Great vehicle if you ask me.

It's by far the highest rated 2018 compact truck on Consumer Reports for what that's worth.

If you wear panties it’s perfect for you. I can’t believe people even call them a truck Those things are less of a truck than an el camino

A buddy of mine said he was thinking about buying a Ridgeline. I asked him if it came with a built-in tampon dispenser, a place to store his purse, had a low door threshold so he could get in without hiking his skirt, are the pedals height adjusted to clear spike heels, and had the navigation system been pre-loaded for all the stores with cute shoes.
He bought a truck instead.

I've had one (Ridgeline Sport) for 4-5 years. Great truck and haven't had a single issue with it.
Also rated #1 in its class on Consumer Reports, I believe. The extra (water-tight) compartment in the bed is a cool feature that I've used countless times.
If you're the truck nuts type who wears a uniform to work with your name sewn on the front, it probably isn't for you. The fellas on night shift down at the mill may give you a hard time.
Of course you can't go wrong with a Toyota, either.

Front end is just too damn ugly.
New models are 280hp/262tq so it'll haul arse.
I rather get a Colorado. Probably wont be as reliable as a Ridgeline though.

One of the best trucks you can get for 90% of truck owners. The ride is second to none and it has a larger bed than the other mid-sizes.
Unless you really need to tow a bunch of shite, the only con is that it’s not as cool as your buddy’s F-250 (but it still rides better ).
That said, these days my #1 priority in cars/trucks is whether they have those seats that blow cool air all up under my balls. So I don’t care what you’re driving if it doesn’t have that feature then GTFO

Let’s play with some key words. Copy and paste the following in a post:
Whataburger
Ford F-series
Chevrolet Silverado
Duramax Diesel
Yeti
Truck Nuts
Grindr
NRA
Net Jets
New Orleans Saints
What kind of ads are you seeing now? Should be more to the OT’s liking.

It's a damned fine vehicle. Very versatile and top notch quality. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4 who like to do outdoorsy shite and DIY home projects.
But... it's not a full size truck.

Had a 2018 for 4 months. Traded it for a full size truck. It can do it but it really is more of a grocery getter than serious towing.

Weird that you’re considering the Tundra, Silverado, or ...Ridgeline.
But Hondas are great little vehicles for chicks or small men.
