It wasn't as egregious as Osorio's use of Marquez.
However, I think a lot of us thought that he used too many older guys who he is comfortable with rather than bringing in talented youth.
I'm referring to guys who are in the 28-32 range though and just players with limited ceilings like Omar, Zusi, and Ream. Not horses that need to be shot and sold to the glue factory. Beasley would be the closest to that, but Arena didn't rely on him too much down the stretch and he had a shockingly decent game against Mexico.

There weren't really any youth that were demanding to be called up.
