It is a nice atmosphere. The times I have been the food was just okay. Better places for the money, but it is a fun place to go with a group.
Personally I would go to Coquette, LPG, Lilette, or Compere Lapin before Jack Rose particualrly if juist going out as a couple.

I thought it was good. We had the royal red shrimp, crawfish bread, lamb shank, and chicken parmesan. Good atmosphere, decent prices. There are certainly better places in town, but it's worth going.

It's a good choice! Food is good. Then go upstairs to Hot Tin rooftop bar!!!
