If he followed procedures, he shouldn't be fired for the incident itself. But if he has the right to his beliefs, they have the right to tell everyone what his beliefs are. Don't want to get into the details of our situation, but I know timing was a big deal for the safety of my wife. We had to get back to the doctor, etc.. Having to drive 20 minutes out of the way and then back, all because he thinks his belief is more important than the woman's safety? I would have gone ballistic. So even if it was within protocol, they have a right to let everyone know what this guy believes.
