Wrong question, but I fixed it for you.

And the answer is yes. Especially when it's felt that the punishment does not fit the crime.

As far as the "crime" he committed, Yes, marijuana use is illegal in Louisiana, but what is the punishment for being caught with it or smoking it? A first-time offender will probably get a few hours of community service.

Thanks for fixing it for me...but it's not just LSU football. I'm not that naïve, but it seems we are willing to look the other way when it comes to "star athletes" who may be able to help our team win games. A curve for grading test in school is different than using a curve to allow or accept crimes committed. How many kids would like that scholarship to follow the law and the rules? Oh, that's right...they can't play football.
