I watched his spring game highlights, he looks to be better than a lot of QB's around the country...
big guy, big arm with some mobility...they say accuracy is his strength.... good long ball!
I am amazed OSU is letting him go...

Have no choice. Haskins is extremely good. Watch Michigan game and 2017 spring game. Only 1 of the 2 can play, and they are both too good to sit.

Basically just a much better overall package than anyone we currently have.

For me its not that we know he's better than what we have now but it's that we know what kind of situation we have now:
Brennan should have taken the starter's spot by now. He was the stud recruit that everyone talked highly of. He was the backup last year and got some PT. That plus all of his work in the spring and he still hasn't secured the starter role - something is wrong.
Narcisse has the size and he had some hype coming in, but he hasn't played a snap in a game in 3 years. Missed his senior year of high school.
McMillan has never been discussed as a starter for LSU until the other 2 QBs have underwhelmed.
So it's not that we know Burrow is good, it's just that we don't have the guy yet and he comes well recommended - let's bring him in to compete against the other 3. We cannot let these WRs and this defense go to waste behind poor QB play.

I feel bad for McMillian because if those other 2 played the way he played in the Spring game we wouldn't be going after Burrow

Well maybe because Burrow injured his hand last year. Or else OSU fans say he would have beat out Haskins for the job.

But the guys that are posting dont sound like idiots or over exaggerating fans. He seems like a fan favorite to me, so much that the OSU fans are posting on LSUs message board...with nothing but positive posts.

How could an LSU fan possibly know a reserve QB who has no real playing time and has sat on the bench at freaking OSU for three years is much better than any QB who has been at LSU two years?
Truth is, none of us know whether or not Joe will help LSU or not. We are just so fricking scared of the season ahead of us with O and E that we want are wishing for help from somewhere.

He still has more experience than all 3 QBs on our roster combined.

Of course no one knows, but he looks very good on tape. Who knows how it will translate.. especially here.
