The biggest badass in south Louisiana’s probably only like 5’6”. They grow them tall up in North Louisiana, so they’d have a clear reach advantage. The coonass would be too drunk to feel fear or pain, so that’s an advantage for the south. I think it’s honestly a push.

Quick cool story about country boy strength.

My son had a medium sized Diamond Black Crepe Myrtle in his front yard and the wife wanted it removed. She posted on FB that it was free and to come get it. A big ole country boy about 6’6” and near 350+ pounds showed up with a shovel and his pickup truck. He dug around that thing and each time he planted the shovel it went in to the top edge of the shovel. In just 3 mins he had that thing to where he could tilt it and dug in a few more times. He then bear hugged the root ball still stuck pretty well in the ground and just tore it out, lumbered over to his truck and plopped it in there.
In 5 mins there was just a hole left. Damn!
