I also heard recruiting lineman lower class rankings. Texas had seven lineman and finished way ahead of O. Correction. I counted nine lineman offense and defense. Ree said it was all receivers and cornerbacks. Hmmm

Georgia had one more lineman than we did and had a historically great class. But I guess that doesn't account for the fact that the recruiting services, ESPN and everyone else in America, hates LSU.

well no cornerbacks, no qbs that off the bat makes it somewhat of a failure. Traore looked terrible in the spring game. I hope he gets better. It wasn’t a typical LSU class. LSU should be a fixture in the top ten. It was a disappointing class

No this has to be wrong. I was told LSU neglected the “trenches” in recent years

We had a year in which we took zero DT's. We had other years when we were so desperate we were taking troubled DTs like LMFAO and Valentine.

We had one year when we started a true freshman (Godchaux) and a true sophomore (Lacouture). There were no backups that year!

We absolutely neglected the trenches.

Where do we stand with Offensive Line drafted?
This is why we are all scratching our heads.

Compared to LSU's recent history of recruiting? Yes, it was a bad class.

no he’s right. For the coach to be “known” as a great recruiter it wasn’t great at all.

So in other words, Miles did a perfectly fine job of getting talent to LSU, right?

So your boy O has no excuses.

I don't follow recruiting like I used to, but outside of the top 20 now seems like it would be worse than it used to be because now everything is so specialized.

Don't now rank strong side and weak side DEs separately and stuff like that?

we had more players ranked outside the top 50 at their position than bama had players ranked outside the top 20 at their position.

Worst class in years, by far. LSU's lowest ranked class since 2002. Miles NEVER had a class ranked that low. But go ahead and keep saying it wasn't bad.

According to who?

The people who had Greedy Williams as the 219th best player in the nation, 20th best at his position and 14th best player in the state?

Yeah, those guys are NEVER WRONG.
