Because non-STH's bought up a bunch of seats that the STH's might have otherwise purchased.

My extras got cancelled. Probably because my ticketmaster account uses a different email than I do for the pelicans.

Sure, but perhaps not tickets that the STH wanted. If they are cancelling ALL tickets sold to non-STH emails, then they will re-issue codes/links to the STH's.

I split a season package with a few friends and we all pick different games to go to. Unfortunately my buddy was the only lucky one among us to get to keep his tickets (account is in his name). I should have had him just buy mine. 
I guess now I will just await the Insider Code.

I would imagine to give us a chance to get tickets to all the games. By the time I finished buying tickets to game 1 and game 2, game 3 was sold out.

Same sort of situation here. Split them with my BiL. It was only 2 season tickets so we needed 4 so we could sit together with the spouses. He didn't have time to get the extra tickets so he sent me the code. Just hope the rep can fix this nonsense.

I haven't gotten any email from the Pels or Ticketmaster. No refund either. Logged in to my Ticketmaster account and my order has been cancelled.
I understand why this puts the Pels in a bind, but how difficult is it to give STH's a unique code? Sorry that I want to go to the game and was given a code by a STH friend. If I don't get a chance to go to a game at a reasonable price, I won't be happy.

I don’t think they really care at this point if you’re a non season ticket holder or aren’t interested in locking down season tickets for next year. They know the seats will fill one way or another
