Jazz haven't done diddly poo to make it matter all that much if they lose the name. Outside of Stockton and Malone. I Promise you the transition would be VERY easy stick fast because it makes so much sense, even to non basketball sports people it would make sense.

As much as they would love to have a top 3-5 team in the NBA from Minnesota called the Lakers.
