so you think a QB will be magically transformed into a premier SEC QB after a few more weeks of fall practice?

I certainly think 4 months of study and independent practice, plus fall camp can make a major difference, yes.

We all know what's possible. Do you think it's going to happen?

So, we’re gonna start a guy that could not beat out our previous shitty quarterbacks and everybody is hunky dory with that? The mental gymnastics you people are doing trying to say this guy is gonna do good is really hilarious.

None of the 3 current QBs "beat out our previous shitty quarterbacks" last year but one is gonna have to play. So what's exactly your point?

Actually, from the offensive coordinator’s point of view last year, one of them did beat out the shitty quarterback. Our head coach in all his infinite wisdom on quarterbacking, wouldn’t allow him to play the one that was better. Hint, it wasn’t Justin McMillan he was talking about.

Hint...it's wasn't Myles either.

Anyway, last year is just that...last year.

IF everyone is judging QB from the Spring Game, according to the stat sheet posted on TD, JM was #1 in passing abs was #2 in rushing, one TD in each category. Ummmmmm, does that mean we have shitty RBs too?

Get a life and support the team as a whole.

They want Myles “BEAN POLE” Brennan at the helm. With his 1 pick every 6 attempts last year. Of course they are salt merchants, using their own product.

Well, according to the stats, Narcisse had the most yards per attempt & most yards per completion. Stats don't always tell the whole story.

Stats most certainly do not tell the whole story but most in TR seem to think so...if wait, that's only if it favors their guy.

Stats would be so much interesting if they included errors like in baseball. Receivers may not look as good as we think. ??

He is not going to lead this team to a winning record, unless we get a lot better OL play that’s for sure.

Who said JM was taken out of games in HS for pass plays?

My goodness! For any of these QBs the problem is NOT going to be development bc that won't matter with LSU fans. Most just want to see failure one way or another.

That's sad! Regardless if you like the coaches or not, show some positive support for ALL these young men who represent YOUR SCHOOL!

It's difficult to be positive when O is your HC and simply promotes the position coach to try and fix a huge culture program at QB.

It's not that people are rooting for any players to fail, we have just come to expect it. Why should this season be any different? Until proven otherwise, it is what it is.. I don't even know if it's really personal. Even before last season started, I started to get into the MB hype up until I remembered we've been gone through this before.. and now look.. He's even losing the hype.

It just flat out sucks LSU settled on O and is reverting right back to where they were to begin with. Same ol issues. I seriously hope they get the biggest offensive guru HC around next hire. I feel like LSU can attract top notch defensive coordinators easier.

Any ways, I guess you are right. Let's just let the season play off before we count anyone out at this point.. but things have turned even some of the most posi-tigers around into nega-tigers. I know I was a huge sunshine pumper at one point.

By your logic, no QB that's ever been a backup will ever be better than his predecessor

Accept it folks. Just another year in the LSU QB development cycle. there's always next year.

As it should be. The younger QBs thrown into the SEC fray would not be right. They have another year to hone their skills. Maybe, they come in if unfortunate injury takes place, but the growth between now and then will add a 'uge amount of skill using the new system.

freshmen QBs play, and play very well, both in the SEC and across the country.

The youth excuse doesn't fly anymore.
