If you haven't watched his film LINK

Plays like a number 7.

Would it be DS7 or DSJ7?

The initial the number nickname is Kinda played out, at least in my opinion. I feel like a nickname just kinda comes to you when the time is right haha

No one uses it in real life...honestly, it's only on this board for shorter typing

No one ever walked up to Leonard and said "hey, LF7"

The kid definitely has amazing ball skills to go up and get it. Only 3 tackles in the video, but if he understands angles to the ball and can be a sure tackler then Free Safety may be his college position. I think he could make a bigger difference in the turnover margin at FS with his instincts and ball skills. However, if he ends up at LSU then CB is the obvious need so it would still work out.

He gets it better than most, he knows where the ball is going and hits his high point perfectly.

He definitely has great ball skills, but I am really impressed with his return game. He reminds me of TM7.

And I'm not really hunting a nickname for him, but referring to his likelihood of being a star.

Hopefully for LSU.

Too small of a high school to accurately judge his talent

He’s as good of a high school in state corner that I remember in quite a while. I think he can be on par or better than TM7, Claiborne, and white as a cover guy.

State's top player, hands down. Coverage skills are unquestioned, athletic ability and instincts are next level.

Not disputing his absolute talent, but a few things from that Jr film.

Who in th frick throws a 7 yd out route against the best corner in his? That coach is a moron

Who in the F doesn't cover their lanes after they punt? Do they watch the film and not see they run the reverse on punts.

Also, does he play rb? If not, he damn well should. Tremendous waste of he only plays defense.
