Thoughts on Farseer Trilogy?

I’m about a third of the way through the third book of the trilogy and I’m kind of shocked it doesn’t get more love.
I’m really enjoying it all. Any other opinions?

It's a very good series. I put it on my lists of book series I think are better than The Name of the Wind when we had that discussion a while back(and several people fairly called me crazy, though I still think so).
The first trilogy is the best I think, but all of the Fitz books and the Liveship/Rain Wild books set in that world are really solid. Never read her Soldier Son trilogy though, those books are horrifically bad (one of the few series I've dropped without finishing).
I think it just falls into the cracks a bit because it's not one of the first 6-7 series that comes to mind when someone asks for fantasy recommendations. I tend to say Erikson, Abercrombie, and Scott Lynch first, even though I'd consider Hobb in my list of top fantasy authors.

Love the trilogy. Finished it about a year ago. Haven’t read any of the other trilogies along with it.
A friend has read all the associated books with it and said the first is the best as well.
I do agree I thInk it falls through the cracks but definitely a good trilogy. I like the magic system in it, something a little different.

Its outstanding. Enjoyed it much more than GOT.

I've read all 3, and they are all good. The first series is by far the best though. Book 1 of the third series is damn near unreadable, but I disagree with the poster above and enjoyed the ending.
I think reading a woman author in this genre was definitely a different experience. She's masterful at writing about the relationships and interactions between all the characters. Especially with nighteyes and "little brother". Even within the violence and "battles", she focuses inward instead of on the act/battle itself. And that stays consistent through 9 books. It can also be very annoying and drag at times, but there is no doubt you care about all the characters by the end. And Fool is one extremely complex and strange character, but you understand him/her very well by the end.
I would suggest reading The Live Ship Traders before going to the next Fitz and Fool series.
