video games are not making kids kill people. Video games and movies are not convincing people to kill. The reason things are getting more common today imo (yes my opinion) is there are more and more kids without any structure or home life. Lack of father figures in their lives, lack of structure and any sense of morals and lack of empathy for others

Spot on. Destruction of the nuclear family is the biggest problem. Humans need a support system, especially when they are developing.
