I live in Lafayette and it is a great city, UL is a very good school but not anywhere on the level of LSU in any sport with the exception of soft ball. Lets face it you are very obsessed with the LSU brand and it kills you! Gosh we only have like 54 national championships in team sports, and UL has 0. Take a pill and relax

Louisiana government have always been a detriment to my school in Lafayette
Let's talk about having the legislature require all Louisiana public universities have their athletic departments be self-supporting rather than having taxpayers give them welfare.
LSU athletics uses no taxpayer funds.

We are about to blow past them in this sport also. We started our program after theirs and have just as many CWS appearances and I'd bet we win a Natty in the next few years.
Their coach just got fired for telling players to kill themselves.

I'm from NOLA but I live in Lafayette now. At first it was cute when I moved here(08), I cheered for UL, why not? I was always a tiger fan but figured I'd root for the home team as well, didn't bother me. THEN this bullshite with becoming Alabama fans and the animosity towards LSU got me pissed. Most of the fans are fair-weather, don't know much, and enjoy watching Tuesday night football. F'EM and their Nick Saban loving asses, GEAUX TIGERS!

We have no problem being UL-Lafayette academically. Just Louisiana athletically.

I grew up with USL and when I was transferred out of LA. it still was. when the name was changed to UL at Lafeyette (not UL as you claim), I was gone and still use the old moniker. sorry if that bothers you. actually, the more I think about it, I don't give a frick whether you like it or not.
you keep using UL, which is wrong, I will keep using USL (also wrong).
