Fast times was filmed in 1980. Still lots of 70s feel to it. Mid 80s Hughes movies had the 80s nailed

True. But when I saw it, it felt 80’s. I wasn’t driving yet so it was what I imagined the big kids were doing.

Joel Schumacher needs to be mentioned.

St. Elmo's Fire is the quintessential yuppie movie and Lost Boys is very 80's.

Reminds me of the early 80's. California youth culture was about 3 years ahead of everyone else back then.

Any of the John Hughes movies.

The original Wall St. could hit theaters today and no one would be the wiser. Same clothes, hair, and general theme as Wall St. today.
