This might be a good opportunity for a one year prove-it deal.

Going to be 33 in May. How much does he have left in the tank. And what would he cost? I could go for a 1 or 2 year deal at the right price.

He played really well in the slot in 2016. He got pushed outside a lot more and had Hundley throwing to him last year. He's old and ont he decline, but he could still give us production from the slot.

As long as he's a non locker room cancer camp body on a prove it deal, we should totally pay him money for football

A good win now signing. I think he’d compliment Thomas nicely.

In 2016 Jordy Nelson had 2.75 yards per route run in the slot which was the best for all receivers. Just didn't get to play in the slot often with Cobb. Wouldn't be surprised if that is where he fits in with his next home.

Through Week 6 (he only played 5 games) when Rodgers got hurt he put up: 25 catches, 290 yards, 11.6 YPC, and 6 TDS. Might not be a pro bowler but I can take that production coupled with MT, Ginn, AK41, and InGOAT. That's 5 respectable to great options for Brees.
