Let's accept the premise that Page is worthy of spying on for the time being.
What happened to make the FBI care in 2016? Did they really get suckered by the dossier? Or was it the association with Trump, and some animus toward Trump, that sent them looking for a basis to poke around Page?
I suspect it's the latter. And if so, that's fricked up. It may not invalidate Mueller's probe, but it's fricked up nonetheless and should stand on its own (it won't).

Adopting another man’s child (especially of a different race) in lieu of passing on your own genetics is a form of cuckoldry.
You’re using a myopic view of the term. If you’re unable to have kids and adopt that’s not cuckoldry. If you forego having a child who is genetically yours intentionally to adopt, that’s cuckoldry.

It sounds like the FBI either can't find evidence or they're just incompetent.
They'd been investigating one guy since 2014 and now they've been investigating Trump since 2016 and that don't have shite to show for it.

It's interesting what the memo *doesn't* say. It doesn't say Carter Page's contacts with Russians were proper. It argues that the FBI wouldn't have found out about them but for the Steele dossier. Politically, this is an odd defense. "Yeah our guy might have been a Russian stooge. But you didn't find out about it the right way."
