Just because you don't have water now doesn't mean you have pipes that burst. I grew up in a crappy shack. Me might not have water for a week in the winter but never had burst pipes. It has to freeze solid enough to expand to actually bust. It might slushy or partially frozen enough to disturb the water flow but that doesn't mean you will have a huge plumber bill.
If you do end up with burst pipe it will likely be under the house, not within the walls.
