You people absolutely suck as fans. Geaux Tigers!

After the melt, everyone will be back on board. But when your head coach lies to the fans you have to expect the backlash. Fans have every right to be critical.

Then once we fail next year and the year after will you eat crow and admit everyone who was against was right?

Frick that shite! We did give him a chance! He lied, already! Do you honestly believe Ensminger is the BEST OC in college football???? Come the frick on dude! Wake up! He’s a damn wolf!

No, it’s you people who suck that support every move LSU makes just because it’s LSU. You blindly follow them, and don’t question a damn thing. You are all Lemmings, and it just makes the problem worse.

I wonder how many people thay say shite like this are season ticket holders.
Their investment into LSU football is likely 3 hours of time for 12 days a year.
Pretty easy to just give blind loyalty in that situation.
Its much different when you pay the equivalent of a nice vacation as your contribution to still want to do so when you see this shite show you are being sold.

Screw every other team for not giving them a chance. What do they know!

Orgeron PR Narrative #2: "Give him a chance!!"
Standard response #1: Top level football programs like LSU once was are not supposed to be the place where unproven commodities "get their chance". It's a $100 million a year business. This is supposed to be the place you graduate to once you are already proven. That's why we pay so much.

Like clockwork...when decisions like this happen, people that see the downward trajectory the program is heading on get it out of their system immediately on here.
Couple of days later, football ignorant blind loyalist flood the board with "you ain't a real fan if you don't support the coaches" threads.
Wash, rinse, repeat.

10 combined points against Florida and Bama sounds like a chance they already screwed up. If SE really is that good, explain that, and then explain why would we waste so much money hiring AND firing Canada when “the best” was already on staff. I hope the tigers do well, but come on man, be realistic.

I was skeptical of the hire but generally supportive of O and hopeful for the future. Now it appears to be a train wreck in progress. I hope I'm wrong but that's my impression. The good news is that Aranda appears to be our backup plan. If that's the case, then I believe the sooner we get there the less damage done, but hey, I hope I'm wrong and O brings us 7 NC's and embarrasses Saban into retiring. For some reason, I just don't see that happening.

For the record, I hope LSU wins every game they play in all sports! I support the players and “LSU”. If Burt and Ernie were HC and OC I would cheer them on to the fullest. But this regime is pathetic! And saying so doesn’t make me a negatiger, it makes me realist instead of a sunshine pumper.

I gave 0 a change last season. He lost by 30 to a mediocre Mississippi St, team. LOST to Troy, and shite the bed against Bama. Yes LSU had more yards than Bama but they had 14 few points. He also lost to Notre Dame.
Now let’s look at how thenoff season started. Firing Canada and hiring his buddies. He had his chance and I don’t think he will change.

The chance that should have been given is Canada with Brennan and Narcisse. If either or both of them are great, they can make E look good. I'm not even saying Canada is great, we'll never know because he was stuck with Etling. I don't know if anyone remembers, but Cam was there when Mett, Jarvis, and Odell lit it up. Were any of you lining up to give him credit as he was being ushered out with Miles? It's never that simple. This is still a bad hire even if it works out. Incest, cronyism, and retreading is not how you build a championship program.

A chance at what? Proving everyone wrong?
Think about that for a second...why would we hire two men who, if they do their jobs well and ultimately succeed it will have proven everyone wrong?
The fact is, while Steve Ensminger is certainly a Tiger and from all accounts a good man, he is NOT and SHOULD NOT have been anywhere near the position to have been considered for the OC position. And there is no argument to the contrary. The man has not had an OC job since the Clinton Administration, and yet we're being told by some that he's the best in the country...that he was our only option...that we need to give him a chance?
What about our program leads anyone to believe that our best option for OC just happened to be our sitting TE's coach who had not coordinated anything for two decades?
When can we stop pretending that we're not obviously taking huge steps backwards while our competition in the league are taking obvious steps forward?
There's being positive, and then there's being willfully delusional.

Op is right. And so are the critics. Tough spot all the way around.

Screw every fan that said:
Coach O is one of us
He’s going to let his coaches coach
He learned from his mistakes at Ole Miss
We Comin’

Just curious why we have to give Ensminger and O time and chances with their track records, but a guy with a proven track record (Canada) we don't give any time to. Why is that?
