Walking out of vault 101 in fallout 3. It was my first Bethesda game. The sense of wonder in realizing you could explore this world however you wanted was magical.

Mass Effect 1 last fight & ending. I still get chills when I hear that song.

Ending of MW2. Taking the knife and killing Shepard. That soundtrack was awesome. It’s not everyday you get a Hans Zimmer score in a video game.
Flying the X-Wing down the Death Star trench while the midi score plays in the background. 10 year old Prez loved the XWing flight sim.
The last mission in Star Craft Brood War was intense.

I can remember the feeling of finally getting tfo of Mt. Moon on Pokemon Red for the first time... it took me an entire trip to and from the Nachitoches meatpie festival. Zubats... zubats everywhere. On that same file I spent an entire Krewe of Centaur ball navigating Rock Tunnel... without a Flash HM. Kids today with their google
The Flood's first appearance in Halo CE. One of the GOAT twists in gaming history. Also, the time I finally beat my older cousin. Made him throw his controller over an across-the-map headshot on Sidewinder. Our respective grandchildren will know of this moment.

One of my favorite two part videos ever is when the Angry Video Game Nerd rants and raves on he can’t land on the carrier, and then a year later reviews the Power Glove and how big of a piece of shite it is, and then after a year finally manages to land the plane with the Power Glove.

Beating Onyxia for the first time in Vanilla was awesome. Playing Mechwarrior 3 on MS Zone with 56k dial up, had to lag shoot other people, lol. Going waaay back and beating the original Contra without up up down down left right left right b a

First Rag kill in Vanilla wow. Priest popped out of a DI pally bubble and his wand shot got the killing blow. Only people left were a priest and a warlock.
I cried when Aeris died in FF7
Too many hours playing Red Alert vs best friend when you had to dial up connect
Playing a NASCAR racing game on PS1 with my dad, we would play full races against each other
Duck Hunt/SMB on the original NES with my grandfather

Seeing Rapture for the first time in Bioshock.
The intro slowly zooming out from Aeris to show all of Midgar in FF7.
The first mission in GTA3 with Stripe Summer playing on the radio. 3D GTA was such a big deal then.
The nuke actually going off and actually killing you in COD4.
Mr. X climbing up the balcony in RE2.
When I first saw Emerald Weapon swimming around in FF7. Scared the shite out of me.

Something that happened in the original Planetside.
So many unbelievable moments playing that game I can't possible choose one.

Are we supposed to know anything about your gaming history?

First time you rode Epona into Hyrule Field in OoT. That blew my mind.
6 person Lan Parties playing Age of Empires 2 was awesome.
Playing America's Army on my PC when I was 14 and spending all day guarding the PCs in insurgent camp is my favorite multiplayer moment of all time.
Original Xbox halo multiplayer is a tough one to beat for console FPS.

Hearing the score in FFII (FFIV in Japanese numbering) for the first time. Before that I was used to 8-bit - FFII was the first game I played on the Super Nintendo with its 16-bit sound. Blew me away.
Playing Starcraft over LAN with my friends and brothers.
Playing the first Everquest when it came out - the size of the world was epic at the time. Played a bard just so I could run around.
Star Wars Galaxies. Enough said.
XWing vs Tie Fighter - online 2v2. Very few people could beat me in my A-Wing. Even joined a squadron.

Forgot to mention that I played an entire round from beginning to end in BF3 and managed to get zero points.
There was quite a few people from here in that lobby.
