Have you ever trained with the IDF? Do you think Hezbollah would have given them any trouble if they were not concerned about “collateral damages” to the Lebanese population?

It’s bc they can’t sustain long term operations bc they get stretched to thin very easily

The IDF just isn't very good.

That's the unfortunate truth. You have special operations units that are capable, but as an army? They've got issues.

Their conscripts are poorly trained, badly disciplined, and can't even be relied on to show up. They can't operate for more than 30 days either, due to the damage that call ups cause to the economy. The IDF doesn't have career NCOS either, which is beyond belief, to me at least.

The IDF can keep the Palestinians down, but they're going to have serious trouble with any reasonably capable force. The SAA would probably give them fits for example.

That's why they lost the July War. The Hezbollah units were, man for man, better trained, and better led.

The complicated network of fixed fortifications was also major factor.

The Israelis don't care about collateral damage.

They just don't.
