What will it take to get back to that level as a program? I was only 11 for the first one but I do remember watching them and being disappointed every year. I particularly remember blowing a game against Tennessee one year. Is it possible for us to rediscover ourselves as a program or will it require a new coach

IDK how they managed to go to 5 straight final 4s and not manage to win a single one of them. Reminded me of the Eagles when they went to the NFC championship almost every year and always lost.

A head coach that will lick the players. It helps in recruiting.

To get back to that level it all starts with recruiting! LSU had top 10 classes in the mid 2000's. The talent difference between then and now isn't even close

If we ever want to get back to an elite level. We need more elite players.

Until we do that we won't get back there anytime soon. We will play hard, work on defense and maybe upset a top 25 team from time to time but the type of classes isn't enough to maintain a top 10 program

Look at the transformation of South Carolina and Mississippi State, look at their recruiting over the last few years. It all starts on the recruiting trail.

I feel like at times over the years, LSU WBB team plays very hard and with passion but it's not enough to overcome lack of talent and given ability at multiple positions

Who cares?

Waste of athletic department resouces

PC crowd will reactively yell, but go look at those attendance numbers. At our peak, we could not average a half full PMAC for WBB

It's not even worth talking about until LSU shows any inclination that they care about athletics performance.

Step 1: Joe Alleva fired and competent AD hired.

Should never have forced Pokey to leave. One of the most unjustified actions by any major program ever. Coach having sex with a former player. Oh lawd no not that!

Easy. Seimone was a year too old/Sylvia was a year too young. If you change one of those ages we get a title.
