Its to cut power to the switch completely so you can change lightbulbs without shocking yourself

somehow i've managed to do that very thing for 52 years with non GE zwave switches without killing myself yet.

Those triangle looking Lutrons look more professional? They look ugly as hell and is something I'd expect to see in my office bathroom. Not my home.

Well guys, was able to peak behind some switch covers at the new house today—

And we have Neutrals.

I’m pretty pumped that I’ll get to use all the crap I bought. Probably be at least a month before I get them installed because of the other work we have planned.

Looking forward to my 3 year old yelling at Alexa to turn shite on and off.

The GE zwave switches I bought from Walmart contains a little white wire to connect to your neutrals. Very important; don't accidently throw it away.

The last GE and leviton I bought didn't have this so I had to make a run to home Depot to buy wire before I could connect them.

The wireless picos? They come in about a bijillion combinations, they freaking rock. Instant problem solvers.

Use Smart Things.

The company that I work for is doing work on an app and they sent me a bunch of stuff that I have been testing. Intergration is pretty seemless thus far.

Here to answer questions if anyone needs help.

I agree on smart things!! the back up power is just important. Tho I read that it's got only few networking protocols supported.

Thanks CAD. Because of your Lutron rant, I have Lutron ads on mobile TD.
