You saying O is the reason they were fired? By losing to the worst coach in the conference? Is that what you trying to imply?

Are you not counting Ole Miss? Considering they fired their guy right before the season I'd say that's about the same

LSU's records since the 2011 season:

10-3
10-3
8-5
9-3
8-4

And now all of a sudden a 9-3 - and possibly a 10-3 - season with a new HC and new OC is unacceptable and an outrage.

This board is entertaining, if nothing else.

Bama also played Arky, A&M, and Tennessee.

The Gumps also played Auburn, and lost.
LSU played Auburn, and won.

LSU is 9-3. Be thankful that we are not one of those teams that had to fire its coach.

Now, let's get to 10-3 and sign a damn strong recruiting class.

If we play world beaters and we lose, well then we cant compete

If we play teams that we are struggling, well then we didnt accomplish anything.

So we should play 12 games only against teams that will finish 9-3, play in a power 5, but also an equal number of road games in November. Oh, all of our bye weeks must be on the same date as said 9-3 opponents. We also must all lose to the same 3 teams even though its not mathematically possible

So what? Last year, 4 SEC teams lost to an LSU team that had just fired its coach. 2 of those teams fired their coaches this year. Perhaps they should have been fired last year after losing to an interim HC?

Louisville lost a bowl game with a Heisman QB to that same interim HC. What's that say about Louisville?

What point are you trying to make? We won all the games against the teams you speak of, and the 2 teams we lost to (other than Saban), are coaching candidates this year.

The notion that coaches are fired after 1 bad year & not the culmination of several bad years is laughable.

Les Miles had his shot at these same coaches & he couldn’t get it done.

We also lost to the best coach in cfb history & Mullen who is a top 3 sec coach. You can only play what’s in front of you.

Shitty teams or not the wins bode well for the future of this program especially concerning recruiting. At one point we looked like a 5 loss team & recruiting was gonna suffer

You do know that these schedules are made a couple years in advance and not week to week...right?
