That they read Trump's tweets and get excited because it makes their political opposition sad and angry at whatbthe Presidenct has become. That his supporters have acknowledged his disgraceful behavior as the new normal for the Presidency.

The version of America that these folks desire is an international embarrassment and a disgrace.

It may be stupid and childish, but it is just words and tweets, not policy and action. It doesn't affect anyone. Ignore it if you wish.

What was it that Faulkner said about words?

"That was when I learned that words are no good; that words don’t ever fit even what they are trying to say at. When he was born I knew that motherhood was invented by someone who had to have a word for it because the ones that had the children didn’t care whether there was a word for it or not. I knew that fear was invented by someone that had never had fear; pride, who never had the pride.

"I knew that it had been, not that [the school children] had dirty noses, but that we had had to use one another by words like spiders dangling by their mouths from a beam, swinging and twisting and never touching, and that only through the blows of the switch could my blood and their blood flow as one stream."

Honest answer.

This just makes you sound like a sore loser.

Trump doesn’t follow the rule book, which makes him unpresidential, ergo bad.

Yes, he ignores political norms in the way he speaks frankly, and turns to social media.

It’s also incredibly effective. See his recent comments on Elizabeth Warren for example. He cut her off at the knees with that.
