Did it take less courage when they did the same thing 40 years ago?

frick those frickers.

I pulled up to my house just as they were leaving one day. They were walking up to the house next door when I opened my back hatch and a lawnmower fell out on my foot.

I let fly a string of obscenities that would make a sailor blush.

And they didn’t offer to help. They didn’t ask if I was okay. Didn’t do a damn thing but ignore my plight.

If heaven is full of people like that then i’ll Take my chances in hell

Growing up in Protestant north Louisiana, just saying “We’re Catholic” seemed to freak out witnesses, Mormons, or other door knocking religious types. They would usually leave pretty fast after that. We thought it was funny,

I know a Dr that is a JW, he has colon cancer and was diagnosed early. He is refusing treatment because of his religion. Never made sense how he believed this way but was a Dr. How is refusing treatment any different than suicide? Either way you are killing you self.

Interesting that he is a doc. JW generally frown on higher education, although the two I knew best did have college degrees.

From NPR: Pew Research shows that only 9 percent of Witnesses get undergraduate degrees. That's well below the national average of 30.4 percent and the lowest of any faith group. The likely reason for this trend is the religion's official warnings against college.

This is why I kept my pentagram from my college days. It's down in the basement with the other props. I was joking about a year or so ago that I wish some religious zealot came knocking on my door so I could convert them to the house of satan. Invite them in, offer beverages, lock the basement door and conduct their first seance.

they've been knocking on doors for 50 years ... or longer ... is this news to the rest of the world?

ask them about all the times the watchtower made incorrect predictions. they use the sailing term "tacking" to cover it up.

oh and they backtracked on the vaccinations. so, if you got a vaccination the day before it was allowed, you are going to hell. if you got one the day after, you're good.
