It sucks, but its part of the business world. Its better than the alternative of not cutting costs and watching the entire business go bankrupt and everyone be out of a job.

Yep. I wasn't trolling about capex. Big companies use a buzz word such as synergies and what not to make it more palatable.

February comes quick and shareholders need their dividends.

That's a crock. It's usually to increase shareholder revenue.

It is better than that particular alternative, though who knows if that was actually the alternative
