Yep, you’re right. It’s definitely a statewide issue. But the downside to being the most well-known city in the state (which New Orleans people love to point out, and it’s obviously true) is that you also tend to become the poster child for problems like local political corruption.

NOLA is going to take center stage. Its time for them to stop acting like they are 50 years behind everyone else. Get tough on crime, fix your infrastructure, keep rolling with tourism, revamp the education system
