Looking at getting a Ram 1500 2015 or 2016 model. Anybody drive one? Any opinions? TIA

The OT mostly hates Ram. I'm driving an 09 (bought in 08) with 140k on it. I think I've had $600 worth of unscheduled maintenance in 9 years

The 5.7 hemi is a great engine

I have a 2016 Ram I bought about a year ago. Absolutely, no problems.

My brother bought one brand new a few years back, 2013 I think, and has not had a single problem out of his. I bought one 2 months ago, and i love it.

I think Rams look good. I like the dual tips in the back. Never drove one though.

My dad has a 15 Big Horn and loves it. He had been a Chevy man up until that point but seems to be impressed by the Ram. We have a couple in our fleet and haven't had any issues out of them and a couple of them have well over a 100,000 miles of highway driving a pulling 7500# trailers all over the southeast

Ugly front end.
Chevy or Ford.

had a 2001 and loved it. had a 2009 and loved it. I didn't have problems with it but due to a recall issue, they bought it back from me last year at blue book plus 10%. i wasn't going to get more than that on the open market so I sold it back. I'd still buy one.

The only acceptable truck for an OT baller is a Sierra Denali or King Ranch.

I have a 2015 Ecodiesel with 63,000 miles. No issues, great ride.

They are nice unless you live up north. In Ohio, Rams are rust buckets versus other trucks

I've got a 2014 Laramie with the 5.7 Hemi, with just over 55,000 miles on it and I've had zero issues. I love it thus far and would buy another if I had to do it all over again.

I own a 2013 RAM 1500 5.7L HEMI Big Horn. I love the torque this thing produces when I mash the pedal.
19MPG at 80mph, 22 at 55mph
115K miles
Replaced 1 ignition coil at a cost of $60. It was in the front of the motor and easy to access but the rear cylinders are a castiron SOB to access/change plugs.
Rides very well but was badly out of alignment during the most recent tire change. I get alignments at each tire change anyway but I found it interesting nonetheless.
I have ZERO major complaints other than the oil filter is in a terrible location making DIY oil changes a messy affair.
