I can't put down my creedmoor long enough to take my Grendel hunting so I'm not sure how the Grendel does on deer

Once you get a chance to hunt w/ the Grendel, you'll like it. I've killed about 25 big game, some prairie dogs and a turkey w/ a 6.5 JDJ handgun; most were killed using the 120 gr Nosler BT. The Grendel rifle runs a 120 gr bullet about 100 fps faster than my handgun barrel. If available, I'd recommend loads using the 120 gr NBT or the 130 gr Nosler AccuBond.

That sounds like a good bullet in the Grendel. I have hornady 123's for it. I don't load so I'm stuck with factory ammo. I'm sure they'll do the job though. The only reason I always take my creedmoor all the time is because I have a trijicon 2.5-10x56 scope on it and I can damn near see into the future with it. I just haven't forked out the money for a good scope for my Grendel yet.
