What did you do about parking? The choices around campus seem limited. Did you use the shuttles from various pickup/dropoff places around town? If so, how did that work out especially after the game?

TIA and

I don't remember specifics but I don't remember it being a problem. Of course we've always started early.

Paid to park in a garage or bank lot near the Convention Center (Cumberland at Henley) and it was not a bad walk. Cumberland is the main strip that goes by campus.

FYI, was there for LSU baseball last year and Cumberland is a complete mess. Being dug up and widened.

Kind of a mess from what I remember. Get a spot and prepare for a walk

We took a shuttle to stadium
I have no idea where we parked to catch it, we were with friends from Tennessee and that's how they always do it

I parked out by the interstate and just walked. It wasn't a bad walk. Lots of college housing and restaurants along the walk if I remember. I enjoyed it because it allowed me to see a lot of the area. Was a safe walk as well.

I remember also finding out why they have the stadium capacity they have. The seats are big enough for half your arse so they are able to get a ton in there

Paid to park in a garage near Calhoun's. Ate and drank there for a while, then walked in from there. It was not a bad walk.

Parked off campus and took a shuttle. Plenty of shuttle buses after the game.

I parked in paid parking like most places, when rocking 100k fans so it takes time. It is a fine place, so take your time and enjoy, walk a little, does the heart good.

Uber. Or dock your boat on the river.

The last few times we paid to park in the lot by Calhoun's. Convenient to exit and an easy walk to the stadium.

We parked in a parking garage a few blocks away. Got there not long before kickoff. Had no problems at all. This was in 2011, and Tennessee was a dumpster fire. Not unlike this year. I don't think you'll have a problem

Did you pay the day of game or did you buy a parking pass on line?

Any places to go or avoid? I hate that this game is a noon kick off.

Day of the game. I think we were there 5-6 hours before kickoff.

Most recent trip was in 2011 though, so not sure they even offered it online ahead of time. That may be the best way to buy now though.

It was pretty easy for us, we parked on a back street residential area on the stadium side of Henley and Cumberland intersection for free. There won't be available spots if you arrive too late (if it hasn't changed)but then we just followed the crowd, walked down the street just a little, through some apartments and then took a trail through a little wooded patch and over some railroad tracks. Came out at some student housing just off Neyland Dr. I doubt it was 1/4 mile walk...and did I mention FREE? We tailgated there for a bit and got our drink on before heading to the stadium. You will be surrounded by Orange and hear plenty of Rocky Top but it was eazy peazey in and out for us.
