I went to see Ken Seibold at Bell's on Johnston to order some stuff one time and there was a big pile of equipment in boxes in the corner of the warehouse. I asked him what was that, who was it for and he said that is Lamson's bi-annual donation to USL Softball
Yvette wanted the bleachers fixed at Lady Cajun Softball Park so Lamson bought the bleachers, sent out a crew, they took down the old bleachers and set up the new ones. There was a big load of scrap from the old bleachers and Yvette had to call the USL Sanitation Dept to come get it because it was University Property and they couldnt just haul it off. Good times

There's no doubt the coaches (particularly the non-football sports) have too often had to be their own advocates because the administration, both athletic and university, didn't give much of a damn.
Yvette, Robe and Lotief have all worked their asses off to raise money and improve their programs without the administration behind them. All of them are no doubt great coaches who could have left for greener pastures and deeper pockets.
