I grew up there and although I didn't fish people did well with sacaliat, crappie, bluegill...whatever you call those yummy flat fish. You basically get into the stumps and fish just off of each boat dock. My dad used to sink dog food cans after he punched holes in them, and the occasional Christmas tree.
